Exactly what transport is provided by Footprint? As much detail as possible about the nature of vehicles, driver training, state of roads and likelihood of road traffic accidents.

Footprint has a variety of transportation options depending on the size of the group. We have a small car, perfect for small families and couples. All of the cars we use are always less than five years old and have air conditioning.

For larger groups we have our own Footprint bus, with air conditioning and 15 seats. If you have a larger group will find transportation of the same quality and standard.

All the drivers that work for Footprint are well-trained with many years of driving and tourism experience. They are helpful and many can speak English.

The driving and traffic in Vietnam is like no other. In Hanoi there is 3 million motorcycles weaving through the streets. The driving is not high paced but is very busy. It is recommended that you do leave the driving to us as to avoid any accidents or frustration.

The Highways linking the cities to the tourist sites are good. In the remote and mountainous areas the road systems are a bit rough and are not in good condition. Some roads (in Sapa) are under construction and the ride may become more bumpy and slippery in the wet weather.

The majority of the road traffic accidents in Vietnam are light bumps between motorcycles at traffic lights. Accidents on the highways are seldom as high speeds are a rarity.
